Greetings! The new year 2024 is upon us and 2023 has been fleeting. In all honesty, 2023 was a hard year for us as I lost my father in November 2022. He was a huge part of my and my twin sister’s life, cheering us on, and encouraging us throughout our lives. One thing he taught me was the importance of education. I often heard him say that almost everything can be lost and taken away in life, but the “one thing that can never be taken away from you is your knowledge and your education.” My father is why I hold a bachelor’s, master’s, and photography certification, accounting courses, Adobe courses, etc. He grew up economically challenged in a small town near Paris, Tennessee, and didn’t have money for a college education, although he wanted one. He believed in continuing education and did so for himself in his latter years at the nearby community college. I was always learning from him. He is greatly missed— Every. Single. Day. Here’s to 2024 being a brighter year!
As we move into the new year, I know we are all starting to think about what we are going to teach and all the planning that will go along with it. To help you prepare and in honor of my father, I will be throwing a NEW YEAR’S SALE from December 31 – January 1 on OUR ENTIRE STORE.

As teachers, we are often overworked and pulled in too many directions. We often put others before ourselves and it is hard to learn to take care of ourselves. Addressing mental health is part of self-care for our minds, bodies, and souls. Remember, if your cup is empty, you can’t fill someone else’s cup. Here are 27 FREE COUNSELING OPTIONS FOR
