Who said Easter can’t be fun in the geography middle school and high school classroom? Sure, it can!

Use this time to review concepts such as map skills. Play fun Easter games with a geography theme. Include fun cultural lessons. I try to do something fun for every holiday in my classroom! There are so many ways to incorporate the holiday spirit into your geography lessons. You could organize an Easter egg hunt with clues related to different geographical locations. Have students research and present on how Easter is celebrated around the world. You could even have a map decorating contest where students design their own Easter-themed maps. The possibilities are endless when it comes to combining education with holiday festivities. So, go ahead and embrace the fun of Easter in your geography classroom – your students will thank you for it!

Here are some Easter geography lessons I have used in my geography classroom and they are a hit!
