Ukraine Crises 2022: “This resource is AMAZING! I’ve been telling everyone how wonderful this lesson is and that I can’t believe this was put together in 2 days!!! It is understandable enough for my 9yo and 11yo because it uses humor to deliver the lessons. I learned so much myself, and I cannot brag enough about the thoroughness, ease, and even light touch used to deliver information about a very, very difficult subject. I didn’t want to bombard my younger kids with too much info (or anything too graphic), but I wanted them to be aware of this present (and potentially life-changing) world event. This was a perfect combo of information for which I cannot thank you enough. (Also, the Seinfeld chip was a classic addition.)” – Katherine M.
World Religion: A Comparison Study of Judaism, Christianity, & Islam: ” I used this during a unit in my geography class on the Middle East. It led to some really great discussion! I drew a Venn diagram on the whiteboard, paired students up, and assigned them to a particular religion. Then I gave them sticky notes to write individual facts on from the fact sheets. Then they took turns choosing a fact and reading it aloud, and then, the others would see if they also had a similar fact. If they did, their sticky notes went together to the overlapping area of the Venn diagram, and if not, then they put their note in the section of the diagram just for their assigned religion. They were fascinated to see the overlaps!” – Alison M.
